KAUFMAN COUNTY VETERANS' MEMORIAL PARK
Veterans eligibility -
At least two of these categories must be met:
1. Born in Kaufman County.
2. Attended school in Kaufman County.
3. Entered service from Kaufman County.
4. Official government (KIA or MIA notice) telegram sent to a Kaufman County address.
5. Name on a newspaper Honor Roll list of Kaufman County dead or missing.
6. Cenotaph grave marker in a Kaufman County Cemetary.
7. Name in the Kaufman County WW2 book.
8. Name on an official government Kaufman County list of honored dead or missing.
9. Had an official Kaufman County address while serving.
Veterans eligible to be listed on one of the War Monuments must have served during
the dates of one of the following Wars or Conflicts:
Spanish American War April 25, 1898 - December 10, 1898
World War 1 April 6, 1917 - November 11, 1918
World War 2 December 7, 1941 - December 31, 1946
Vietnam War December 22, 1962 - May 7, 1975
Granada & Panama August 24, 1982 - July 31, 1984
Desert Storm December 20, 1989 - January 31, 1990
Iraq April 17, 2003 - Present
