Come to the Country!
The Forney Lions Club invites you to come on out on September 06, 2008 and ride in the Jackrabbit Stampede. The home of the Antique Capital of Texas, Forney is located just 20 miles east of Dallas. Your route will take you along flat to gently rolling country highways, with just a few good hills thrown in to test your cycling abilities.

From Hwy 80, take FM740
south (watching closely at stoplights!) to FM741, take that East (left)-
From I20, take FM740 north to FM741, go East (right)-
Heading East on FM741, go to new high-school football stadium on South (right) side of FM741.

New Forney High School Stadium on FM 741.

ROUTES
All routes will leave from Jackrabbit Stadium and loop south of Forney
and will consist of flat to gentle rolling terrain.
All routes close at 2 P.M.
AWARDS
Everyone who rides will receive a Jackrabbit Stampede T-shirt, bottled water and other goodies. Prize money awarded to both men's and women's categories. (1st place only)

TIME
ALL RIDES START AT . . . . . . . . . . . . 7:30 A.M.
SAG WAGONS
Well-equipped sag wagons will be available should you have any mechanical
trouble or need medical assistance.
SAFETY/AID STATIONS
Aid stations will be located every 10 - 15 miles and will be
providing water, juice, snacks and fresh fruit.
